A Quiet Place to Land

Some days don’t feel dramatic or broken — just heavy.
My thoughts aren’t racing, exactly… they’re circling. And I don’t know where to set them down.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Reflection

Jesus doesn’t ask us to sort ourselves out before coming to Him. He doesn’t say, “Come when you’ve figured it out” or “Come when you’re calmer.” He simply says, come.

Rest isn’t something we earn by being strong enough or faithful enough. Rest is something God offers — especially when we’re tired, uncertain, or carrying more than we can explain. Sometimes faith looks like doing nothing more than showing up and letting ourselves be held for a moment.

You don’t have to solve today.
You don’t have to name everything you’re feeling.
You just need a place to land — and God is already there.

Gentle Question

Where have I been carrying things that were never meant to stay in my hands this long?

Prayer

God, I don’t need answers right now.
I just need rest.
Thank you for being a safe place when I’m tired and unsure.
Help me lay down what I’ve been holding too tightly.
Amen.

This is one of several quiet reflections shared here.

God is not rushing me.
