Finding Grace on Rainy Days

Finding Grace on Rainy Days

Rainy days slow everything down, and I’m learning that finding grace often happens in the quiet.

Today feels like one of those days — not rushed, not dramatic, just quiet. I’m learning that grace often shows up here, in the stillness, not in the answers.

Most of the time, faith feels steady. But some days it’s really hard. That’s when the grace really matters. That’s when I’m thankful, and that’s how I know the faith is there; it’s just clouded by the storm. “As it says in Psalm 46:10, ‘Be still, and know that I am God.'”

Maybe today isn’t about clarity or direction.
Maybe it’s just about being held in the quiet — and trusting that grace is still here, even when the sky is gray.

As the rain continues to fall, I’m reminded that we don’t have to chase peace; we just have to be still enough to receive it. Finding grace doesn’t require a perfectly clear sky—it just requires a heart that is open to God’s presence in the midst of the clouds. I hope that whatever ‘rainy day’ you are facing, you find the same quiet comfort today
